#2 ANTI-CHRIST - the 'false prophet'

We continue to search in this very Jewish sacred Book for clues on this 'anti-Christ' guy...and what have we discovered so far?  2 types of apostasy and 2 people cast alive into the lake of fire...

6. 'THE BEAST'
The 'Beast' cast into the lake of fire (ch19) is introduced to us in Chapter 13...

John is an old Jew, exiled on the isle of Patmos, looking out over the Mediterranean Sea - then totally under the control of the Roman Empire (which will eventually collapse in 476 AD) - and he sees this monster emerge which would have reminded him of the 4 beasts that Daniel saw. This one seems to be all those former empires presented in one final monster under the control of Satan the dragon, but then we find it personified in..... 
ONE BLASPHEMOUS SPOKESMAN!                                 
He emerges to take total global control of people, including trade. His number is 666 - a MAN's number.
(Does this remind you of someone?)

Wait up...there's a 2nd beast!...

7. THE RELIGIOUS BEAST
We found that the Beast that is finally cast alive into the lake of fire is the blasphemous spokesman of the global super-power...but who is that 'false prophet'? Is he just 'the side-kick', like so many teach?
John keeps telling us (x3) about the satanic homage paid to the Dragon & 'the Beast' and now we find out why...
Another beast has emerged, not from the revived Roman Empire, but 'out of the earth' - the mainland nearest Patmos is now called TURKEY...and further east lies IRAQ! 

Keep in mind that John was born a Jew, he told us of John the Baptist identifying Jesus as the Lamb of God, he saw Jesus crucified at Passover, he has just seen a vision of the Lamb standing in heaven, as slain (ch5), he has warned us about the anti-Christ, and now here's a creature with lamb horns, speaking like a DRAGON, ordering satanic worship of the first Beast. He can even imitate Elijah calling down fire from heaven! Does this 'lamb' get its authority from the Father in heaven? No...it's authority is from the satanic first 'Beast'. This guy is very deceptive and murderous: "Bow down or die!"  Next we will look at what OT prophets said about this guy.

#1 WHO IS ANTI-CHRIST? - 2 apostasies

Many theologians and Bible scholars teach that the coming anti-Christ is The Beast - the head of the revived Roman Empire, seen today as the European Union. Some even claim that the pope is the anti-Christ. When asked who the 'false prophet' is, who will also be cast alive into the lake of fire after the battle of Armageddon, they nonchalantly answer: "Oh, that's the Beast's side-kick".
That's hardly a satisfactory answer, so let's look at this properly.........

1.  TWO TYPES OF APOSTASY
We are going to check out this 'anti-Christ' guy so let's begin with noticing that apostle Paul tells us that first comes 'apostasy' or 'falling away' (2 Thess 2:3) before 'the man of sin' is revealed. If you pay attention to world news you will see that there are 2 types of apostasy growing at an astonishing rate: civil apostasy in government, and ecclesiastical apostasy in churches. This is easily shown by the US embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, bathed in rainbow lights to celebrate 'gay pride' - a key plank in US foreign policy, causing deep offence to African nations that President Obama has been visiting. Meanwhile 'Christian' churches proudly celebrate 'gay marriages'. Agreed??...civil apostasy and religious apostasy. Yeah, hard to believe but we will see that none of this takes God by surprise.

2.  THE BIBLE A JEWISH BOOK??
Before we go looking at this 'anti-Christ' guy, let's be reminded that this weird Bible is not really a Christian or Catholic book but a collection of sacred JEWISH writings, written entirely by JEWS (except poss Luke), about their foundation, promises, slavery, escape, laws, wandering, blessing, idolatry, captivity, return, rejection of Jesus.... ...and future forced acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, and finally - reign with Him. (Romans 9:4-5) Included are some letters written to Christians. This world will NEVER learn that God will not let the Jews or their Book be exterminated, even tho' every empire in history that has mistreated the Jews has collapsed and every attempt to destroy their Book has failed. Gen 12:3

3.  WHO IS ANTI-CHRIST?
So we notice 2-fold apostasy today and we open this weird Jewish Book to find that the only references to this 'anti-Christ' guy come from one apostle - once a fisherman and disciple of that very special Jewish rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth. John tells us in his letters that 'the anti-Christ' will...deny that Jesus is the Christ and deny the Father and the Son. (That makes claims that the pope is the anti-Christ look ridiculous!) This title 'Christ' comes from Greek: 'Christos' or anointed One, who was called 'mashiyach' in Hebrew, or Messiah - only in Daniel 9:25-26, where the angel Gabriel is instructing Daniel on what the future holds for Daniel's people (Jews) and the holy city (Jerusalem). 
This is all very Jewish.

4.  ARMAGEDDON
We are going to work backwards, starting with Armageddon.  
A real place?? Sure! 
The Hill (Tel) of Megiddo overlooks the Jezreel Valley in Israel, where they are looking for oil & gas right now... why?...cos Bible prophecy says it's there...and won't that add fuel to the fire! 

Who will inspire the nations to assemble at Armageddon? The dragon, 'the beast' and 'the false prophet' - the evil triumvirate. (Rev 16:12-16)
Who is the dragon? The ancient serpent, the devil, Satan (Rev 12:7-9) 

What happens to them?...

5.  WHO GETS CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE?
We found out the identity of the dragon (devil/Satan)...but these 2 other guys?? One is 'the beast' and the other....'the false prophet', and they are both cast alive into the lake of fire. (Rev 19:19- ; 20:10)
(This has been prepared for the devil and his angels. Matt 25:41)
You often hear it claimed that 'the beast' is the future leader of the revived Roman Empire (the European Union) but when asked who this other guy is, you get the answer: "that's his side-kick" - not a very satisfactory answer, remembering that prophecy is mostly Jewish, beginning with Abraham. (Gen 20:7)

A CONVERSATION WITH GOD



Would you believe there is a message for us in the stars?...or are they just like paint splattered on the ceiling? Many Christians dismiss this as astrology, but the more I researched by looking at what can be seen in our night-sky and what the Bible has to say about it, the more I was convinced of this despite the corruption of mythology. In the process of publishing ‘Message in the Stars’ in a 26-part series by Facebook/blog, I came to a sudden stop early one morning in June 2013. In discussing the constellations associated with faint Cancer the crab, I noticed that various translations of the Bible disagreed at Job 38:32…

“Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season, or can you guide…” apparently referring to the 12 constellations of the Zodiac, then going on to refer to either: ‘the Great Bear with its cubs’, or ‘the Big Dipper and Little Dipper’, or ‘Arcturus and his sons’ (KJV), depending on which translation.



None of this made sense – the Great Bear has a ridiculously long tail because Zeus was supposed to have thrown him up there (!), there is only one cub, and Arcturus is a giant star in the constellation of Bootes the shepherd.

I was confused and it seems like I haven’t been alone in that.  What to do?  Job is long dead so I can’t call him on the phone or message him. There is only one way to solve this – ask the One who said this to Job. So, these are the exact words of that early morning conversation from my study…

“Lord, You were the One who said that to Job all those years ago. What did you mean?”         Instantly the response was:

“The star you call Arcturus is the brightest in the north.”

Wowee!!
Bear in mind, I did not know this nor do I even have access to a telescope now.  I reached for my 2013 astronomy guide to see if the Lord knew what he was talking about, by looking up the ‘30 brightest stars’ table to find 9 of these are north of the ecliptic line, with Arcturus at the top of the list as the brightest 'among his sons’!

By the way, the second last star on the handle of the Big Dipper is a compound star called Mizar, which was used as an eye-sight test by the Roman army.

A bit far-fetched??
I did not know the answer, the words of the response were not what I would think to myself, no-one else was down-stairs with me that morning,  Job is long dead, the translators have been obviously baffled, and the answer was correct......Who else but our Creator God spoke to me?

Notice too that it would seem that most if not all modern translations since the 1610 King James Version are corrupted by mythology. That also came as a shock, having been brought up with John Nelson Darby's translation, widely used by Brethren assemblies world-wide.

WORLD'S 1ST MET REPORT

We continue our series ‘Holy Bible of Science’ following the 5^th article ‘Planet Earth’

 Here is the world’s first met report - at the time of Creation.

“…for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth…but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.”          Genesis 2:5-6                                                                                         

Not a drop of rain, hey? How many years will the world have to wait?                

There is no mention of rainfall during the next 1656 years, until….

“…were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.”          Genesis 7:11-12

'It never rains - it pours!'

What’s so special about this photo?...isn’t that just a mine, or maybe even a rocket launch-pad?                                                             

No, this is an American drilling-rig searching for oil and gas within a 400 sq. km. area.                                   

Well, big deal! So what??                     

Zion Oil & Gas from Delaware, USA, is searching at the geographic pivot of Africa, Asia and Europe - the Jezreel Valley in Israel, beside the ancient Via Maris or ‘Way of the Sea’.

Winston Churchill said about this patch of dirt: “Never in the field of human conflict have so many fought so often over so little space.”                        
Napoleon Bonaparte: “…the most natural battleground of the whole earth.”            
So who has fought here? Who hasn’t fought here!...and this where British General Allenby defeated the Ottoman Turks in September, 1918.

A former prime minister of Israel, Golda Meir, complained about Moses: “He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil.”          
Well, the Tamar and Leviathan gas&oil fields off Haifa’s coastline were recently tapped - just as old Moses predicted at 120: “…let him dip his foot in oil” - and don’t forget...he said this about Joseph’s family: “Blessed of the Lord is his land……..and the deep lying beneath”. Even the original Mr. Israel, old Jacob at 147 said about his favourite son: “…the Almighty who will bless you with…blessings of the deep that lies beneath”.                                       

Is that just two old men waffling on before they died?? Will biblical prophecy be proved wrong for a change?... or will this make for the final showdown?                                                                                                      

So here’s a ‘heads-up’…        What overlooks the Jezreel Valley?
Nazareth to the north-east and…….Tel Megiddo, to the south, on the ancient northern boundary of Manasseh, son of Joseph – yes, that’s it - Armageddon or ‘mountain of slaughter’.

Watch out everybody!...Jezreel means ‘God scatters’.

#5. AURUM, OLIBANUM...et MURRAM??

What gifts have these strangers from the East brought for the young Child Jesus, the new King of the Jews?

GOLD can be beaten so thin that it can be seen through. Aircraft windscreens and spacesuit visors are coated with gold to protect against radiation. The atomic symbol for gold is Au from the Latin word for ‘shining dawn’: aurum. The Hebrew name for gold is zahab, because of its shimmer. (Joseph doesn't know yet that he is about to be given angelic orders to shift his little family to Egypt - an expensive move!)

FRANKINCENSE (olibanum) is a sweet spicy incense used in religious services. The bark of Boswellia serrata trees is cut to produce pale yellow tears of fragrant gum resin which is dissolved in alcohol then steamed. The Hebrew name for frankincense is lebonah, because of its whitish colour. The English name comes from the French: franc ences or ‘free incense’ ……except this stuff aint free - it's very expensive!

MYRRH (murram) is an embalming oil, also used in making sacred anointing oil. Pale yellow gum exudes from beneath the bark of the shrubs, Comniphora myrrha and Balsamodendron myrrha, which is then distilled to produce a bitter oil. The Hebrew name for myrrh is mor, meaning ‘bitter’- the meaning of the name Mary! 

So ladies, imagine you are Mary of Nazareth - possibly still a teenager – you are newly married  but your reputation is in tatters and you now have this Child miraculously conceived called Jesus, as ordered by an angel. You are also blessed with a man of integrity for a husband, Joseph, who always obeys divine orders precisely. You have been told that your Child is ‘Son of the Highest’ and will sit on king David’s throne forever, but......king David has been dead for nearly 1000 years and his throne has been gone for nearly 600 years!
Bethlehem is not your home town and now these strange visitors from the East have arrived on the doorstep to bow down in worshipping your Child, presenting Him with:               

GOLD!...shimmering like the shining dawn out there…                                      

FRANKINCENSE!...umm, sweet and very expensive...these Gentile visitors act like this is a coronation!…but whatever is in that last flask?

MYRRH?        O,oh!!  Embalming oil for my new Baby?? ...and that's what my name means!...bitter! 

How would you feel about that? Is that a bitter taste in your mouth?

Over 30 years later, Jesus refused to drink pain-deadening wine laced with myrrh, before being crucified as a criminal, but later that day Nicodemus the teacher of Israel, together with wealthy Joseph of Arimathaea, embalmed Jesus’ bloodied body with expensive myrrh and spices before burial in the brand new tomb. 
Why did God come to live with us like this? Why did Jesus die like the worst of criminals? Why did He rise from among the dead?                                            



He's risen!!

AUSTRALIA'S RACISM

'The Sydney Morning Herald' and 'The Australian' daily newspapers have declined to publish this letter:

 

Would someone please explain to us lesser mortals why the Commonwealth of Australia still makes provision for racism in our Constitution, and why British theologian and naturalist Charles Robert Darwin (1809 -1882) is highly honoured by academia, after publishing his racist title: 'The Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life'.  This was followed by: ‘The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex' in which Darwin stated:

"At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes...will no doubt be exterminated. The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state, as we may hope, even than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as now between the negro or Australian and the gorilla.”

While we attempt reconciliation with our indigenous citizens, Darwin’s pseudo-science remains embedded in our high school textbooks, despite his flawed theories having fuelled genocide (eugenics sounds nicer) producing thousands of aboriginal specimens for European museums, not to mention the millions murdered under communism and Nazism during the 20^th century.
