In March 2011, the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP, Australia's Prime Minister at that
time, travelled to Oruzgan in central Afghanistan to officially present to the
Muslim community of Sorgh Morghab nearby, a mosque built by the Australian
Defence Force at an estimated cost of over $600,000.
Never-mind the project budget being originally $233,000 - having being
built by 'infidels', the mosque was useless without a mullah after being black-banned
by the Taliban.
Australian taxpayer: 0 . Taliban: 1
So what did the Australian government do about it?
Spent more taxpayer money on a Senate enquiry of course.
