OUR AUSSIE MOSQUE

In March 2011, the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP, Australia's Prime Minister at that time, travelled to Oruzgan in central Afghanistan to officially present to the Muslim community of Sorgh Morghab nearby, a mosque built by the Australian Defence Force at an estimated cost of over $600,000.                              

Never-mind the project budget being originally $233,000 - having being built by 'infidels', the mosque was useless without a mullah after being black-banned by the Taliban.

So much for earning 'brownie points' with Islam…                                        

Australian taxpayer: 0  .  Taliban: 1

So what did the Australian government do about it?

Spent more taxpayer money on a Senate enquiry of course.
